I just took the hoses off of my Lumina, the A/C will not be going back on. Also any other parts you may be interested in. (From the A/C system that is)

I don't recall which car my hoses came from but I'm almost certain it was a 3500 V6 car and the lines ran parallel like the Fiero's but were not joined into a single block at one end. I took it to a company that makes and repairs hydraulic hoses on an industrial level and got an excellent deal being the last customer of the day. The Fiero's line to line end has a unique diameter on at least one of the tubes and neither of them are barbed although there are ridges simulating it, as a result welding to both tubes was required to adapt the newer A/C compressor end to the Fiero end via hose.

The guy that made my hose was really good and designed O-ring fitted threaded sleeves in the middle so the hoses can be separated at that point instead of disconnected from either the compressor or the car.

The deal was they didn't charge me for welding which was probably about $40. So I paid about $20 or so including the additional parts.

Any of the newer 3400 should work too. I forget which year they changed to that mounting style on the hoses.

as you all know, i own the fiero now. im needing to gather whatever info there is to know for hooking up the wiring of the fiero compressor to 3500's compressor. and if any changes in signals and whatnot need to be made for it all to work.
ENGINE HAS INTERNAL DAMAGE. THIS MOTOR WILL BE TAKEN OUT OF THE FIERO AND REPAIRED IN TIME. UNTIL THEN, A L67 WILL RESIDE IN ITS PLACE
