Hey folks I am trying to help my brother find a driver's side manual window regulator for his '92 Sunbird. It is GM part #16629733. VPI doesn't show that they have any, and his dealer tells him they have been discontinued. Is anyone parting out a Sunbird or Cavalier that can access the inside of their door? If they're in decent shape, he'd probably buy the regulator, channels, etc. too. He lives in Colorado Springs, but I am helping him search. Any help would be appreciated.

It's getting harder to find these cars in junkyards, and it's alot of work to tear into a door panel only to discover that the part on that car is worse than what you've got already (especially here in WI where rust eats J-Bodies alive, especially doors and rockers). I have had great luck on this site finding unusual out-of-production parts that members had sitting around. That's why I posted. I have also referred my brother to car-parts.com. I would rather buy the part from a member of the board than an anonymous junkyard somewhere though. Thanks for the tip though.Joe Morgan
