I am trying to get 200.00 clear for the parts you want. If you can do actual shipping plus 200 I can do it soon. If not I will need to find cheaper freight somewhere. I have a 3400 short block comming and need to pay for it as well as freight and I am 200.00 short.......let me know.
If you decide to go for it I will pack it up VERY VERY well as I have access to a shipping warehouse..........nuff said. I would ship the rod/pistons separate and crate/box the crank.
Cheers
Chris

i'll think about it.
give me a shipping quote to zip 23002 so i know what i am looking at.
i would give $200 but i have to pay a machinist to do additional work to it.
just to be clear, it is in good condition right? no grooves in any of the bearing journals and no spun rods?Last edited by dohcfiend; 03-07-2008, 08:46 PM.The Official Rotating Mass Nazi

It really didn't take much to fab that up. I had a piece of plywood on the bottom and top as well. Keeps the wieght distributed well, and keeps the crank centered in the box, therefore even if the box gets some damage, the crank will stay untouched.
I sold the 3500 crank for $75 to Six_Shooter and it was another $65 to ship to Canada looking like this (with ends and a cover on it, of course)...
Him and I have traded parts before, and gave him a good deal, though.
The 3500 block was also sold for $75 to a local building a 3500-powered Midget race car, replacing the 340hp N/A 4cyl that is a temp engine because he split the 3.4 block at the valley O.O

I am located in Jacksonville Florida and I am very interested in this bottom end. If I were able to pick it up in a truck what kind of price would you be looking at? I have been reading the forums for months and have a few swaps in the works right now. I have a 3.1 rebuild going in an 89 Cutlass and looking for a new bottom end for a 2000 Venture. Might take a little work but the Venture has 200k on it (original LIM gasket) and is ready to retire. I'm looking to build a whole new motor for it and a 3500 bottom end would be great. Its been hard to find one locally for cheap so I'm willing to be reasonable on price.
