correction* the malibu came with a 4t40e and i have one i might be willing to sell for the right price
05+ transmissions are mostly useless unless you can work around a drive by wire setup... on top of that, not all GA's and aleros got the 45, some recieved the 40's
another note, also availible in cobalts and the g5 but again, 05+ transmissions are fairly useless... best bet is going for a 97-05 n-body 4t4Xe as these will be the easiest to adapt, 03+ also had a few modifacations but if your tearing it apart to build anyways its not to hard to convert 40 to 45 spec and from a pre-03 to an 03+ internal spec

As far as that goes you can swap out the valve body or check out the Saturn AURA....it uses a 4t45e and does not have the shift on the fly feature.2000 Grand Am GT

i tell u what ill take $350 shipped to a loading dock near u, i just wanna get rid of this one, i know it runs very good because i had it in my car for about 3k miles...its a good trans. u wont find a 4t45 for that price, i know ive looked
