GI: 115 x 5 to 115 x 5 1" Wheel Adapters

Spacers are just a piece of metal in between the hub and rim. Wheel adapters bolt onto the hub and then bolt onto the rim. Way safer than spacers!

It does space it out. But they are called Wheel Adapters. Spacers just sit in the middle. Cause stress on the lugs. Lakefx has the 1 1/4" ones on his car and he hasn't had any problems.

From the looks of that, wouldn't the wheel end up sitting on the lugs that are holding the adapter to the hub? I don't see how that could be safer, but maybe I am missing something.

The empty holes bolt onto the hub on the car and the wheel bolts onto the bolts that are on the adapter.

I'm guessing that these adapters would give you one inch of 'spacing' without effectively shortening the stock hub studs by that inch. A standard one inch spacer might make the hub studs too short ?

I've looked at those same type of adapters for adapting 115x5 wheels to 100x5 hubs. Is the extra 1" noticeable? Does it help with handling or anything?

Not sure. I was going to use them for the rims I have to make the rims stick out more because the offset was different on the aftermarket rims. But if I can sell these then I will sell the rims too.
