FS: 1991 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 5-speed

Time to put the Prix up for sale. For those of you that don't know, it's a Red 1991 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP w/ a factory 5-speed ("Getrag" 284) w/ charcoal leather interior. I'm tired of working on it right now and I could really use the cash, but if it doesn't sell for what I want, I will just keep it in my storage unit until I am ready to work on it again. I am only going to put it up for sale on the W forums I frequent and probably Craigslist. I don't wanna write up everything I've done to it since I acquired it, so I am linking an outside post where I talk about everything I've done with it. http://gmwbody.com/viewtopic.php?t=6...er=asc&start=0 I have done so much to this car and while it is now a dependable winter DD, it still has annoyances that are, well, annoying me. I am asking $2000 FIRM w/ the stereo system that's in there. I MIGHT consider taking $1500 without the stereo, but I really don't wanna pull everything out.

I'm just getting tired of all the little things that are annoying in the interior. It's not the suspension or powertrain or anything. The suspension is really rough, but all I would have to do for that is get lower-rate springs. I'll make a list of what is wrong with it. I spend too much money on it, too and have a decent credit card bill that needs to be paid off quickly. But, you're right, I've spent way too much money and time on this car to get rid of it, but I' still trying to.

1) CRTSY fuse keeps blowing - no dome lights or power door locks w/ switch (short somewhere)
2) Dash pad squeaks - i fixed it once and now it's back (probably just needs some foam)
3) Alternator noise - fixed it once already, is fine for about 1/2-hour then starts making noise and gets pretty loud
4) a couple rattles that seem to come and go and i can't figure them out
5) half of the AQ9 control lights don't light up
6) broken contact ring for steering wheel controls
7) I hate it when I have a car that needs a lot of body work and has bad paint (i'm anal)

As you can see, nothing major, i just don't have the desire to mess with it right now. I've been working on the new Jeep and I don't mind that, but if i think about working on the prix or drive it, I get annoyed.

I wash the undercarriage all the time. We don't get that much snow here, believe it or not. I only drove it in snow a lot for a couple months and only a few days was there any snow pack on the road. I have the Jeep now, so I don't drive it in the snow anymore. There's no rust, either. Anyway, it doesn't matter since you're too far, anyway, haha.



oh, yeah, i always forget the inner fender rubber pieces are missing.

Unfortunatly I already spent my tax refund, however anyway not a fan of a GP in red that is my taste. Would be interested in if had the cash belive me I still miss my 91 lq1 5 speed aqua and she was near mint except a few felt fabic issue on the doors and rear under the glass.

Funny thing is I paid off two collections and one more on the way... damm near a 3 dollar raise in free'ed income. Oh and I hate credit cards, I live by cash and that is that since 2003..

Well, it needs painted, so you could paint it blue, lol.

I hear ya bout the credit cards. They (well, only 1) are the reason that I had to sell the 96 GP, the 98 riv and now this

what kind of performance does this setup do for you?

i just bought a 92 z-5spd from mn and i gotta pay for some custom cams. so i am strapped for the moment but if you still have it in the next few months, i may be able to make an offer.

i would be able to offer more but you are just so far away and it will cost me a fortune to have a carrier pick it up.

i have no use for the audio btw.

p.s. consider a trade? i have a 94 eldo 300hp n* very comfortable but crappy mpg. can hold more speakers than you would ever need in the trunk.

I'm really sorry I've been absent for so long and haven't answered your post. I actually sold the car today. There is a lien on the title (has to pay me the last 1/3 by the end of the month) but I think he will pay it off. I'm going to post a "good-bye for now" thread after I post this.
