Some how some way the little bracket that holds the shift linkage in place is GONE!
it is a 2 piece bracket, one piece bolts to the transmission the other slides on top of a stud sticking out of the other bracket and is retained by a 10mm nut.
i guess you could say it resembles some kind of crime fighting tool that batman might use...lol.
it is easy to remove if you know where one may be in a boneyard.
if you have one but need it, take it to a machine shop and have them copy it and i'll pay the bill.
i am going to check with the dealer monday but i am pretty sure they will not have it.
