      Pics of the crank, the bearings still have the machining hatches in them, along with the crank. The inside of this block looks brand-new (except the excessive carbon on top of the pistons)...





      Damage on oil pan (no leaks)...

          I bought it with no accy's on it. The bolt was threaded by hand a few turns, and was bout 4" long I'd guess. When they set it on the crate, it got tweaked. The bolt was bent pretty bad. Still threads in, but I wouldn't take any chances. I could have the shop neighbor TIG it for me for a thank-you. Can't wait to get our new TIG.

            looks a lot like mine only mine was a bit cleaner internally and bearing wise, my engine has 33k miles... i'll take pix if i get a chance

              Cleaner? This only had the typical carbon-browning, except the chambers were horid. I need to take pics of the inside of the heads. It looked like some kind of fungus (or actually crystals) growing in toward the pistons.

                  That's how these look. The bearings still have the tooling marks in them from manufacturing processes.
