3500 exhaust manifolds, mild ported

    Yes, i had thought about that, but i was under the impression that the 3500 manifolds used the same style ring seal as 3400 manifolds, just with a smaller ring..... i wonder, can anyone get ahold of JUST the ring seals? if i can get two of those, i can have some flanges made cheap cheap

      Would a cut to fit graphite gasket work? Like the material used on EGR gaskets?

        It's possible, but Jason(Moonwell) was using flat gaskets, paper, copper, etc etc on his 3400 manifolds, and everything he did no matter what, they still blew out. I think he had to replace his steering rack twice b/c it kept melting the boot and @#$%ing stuff up. He went to the proper ring-seal a while before he got his headers.....

              I didn't ues a gasket on my turbo downpipe and had no problems. Need to start with some 1/2" steel, and have it milled perfectly flat (after welding if warping occurs).
