I just found that out I was unaware that GM moved it over from my block.

Looks like I'm going to have to hack the rear pipe up anyways, so it's getting choped before I send it to you. You have an L-body correct? Your brake booster is too close to the driver's side of the rear head for this to fit. I'm going to make the collector come out parallel to the valve cover facing the brake booster. This way the downpipe will clear your suspension, and the middle primary that is hanging pretty low.

If need be, I'll take it to a scrap yard to test fit :P that way it's only going to cost a buck instead of shipping. Front header looks like it will clear, but if someone could give ma a good pic of the KS location on the 3x00's, a judgement call could be made (again scrap yard, lol).

Sorry, the end of the collector will be in the center of the valve cover- slighly higher, and the #1 primary will go up over the top, instead of down low (unlike the other side).

I wish you could make the drive down here. When will you get running N/A? This could've been done in 1 long Saturday with the car at my disposal (headers anyways). And your turbo would take about a day to tack, providing we have pipes ready to go. Perhaps the entire turbo kit could be done in a weekend.

its been runnning and driving for a month now..lol

how much do you think we could knock out if i came down mid saturday and left late sunday? i may be able to work a few things out to come down for a day or two

and im not concerned with the collector location..(maybe the rear) but the angle on the front may pose a problem

the knock sensor is toward the passenger side just above the oil filter

              ORu posts overlaped, lol.

A long weekend we could probably get all your turbo pipes welded up.

I'll PM my ph# and call me tomorrow (kids are sleeping).

Yeah you need the car there to see where everything interferes. Those won't work for several reasons with the angles they have now. I mean they will work but not at that angle.

Does it matter much on a turbo app?

Most people will argue, but yes.

Gas expansion right at the end of the primary (or just inside the turbine) is optimal on a turbo application.

can you measure that rear from the head to the furtherest part out? i wanna make sure it wont interfer with my PS rack..the rear might be easier done when i come down unless you want to come here and do it be easier for me (id pay extra if you could..lol)

Both headers barely go further than an iron manifold, but can pull a tape and take some more pics when I go back to the shop tomorrow afternoon.

Problem with going up there is having the equipment to do everything. Don't mind making the trip, though

Let me see what we can work out, perhaps we will do the turbo there instead

Got any tracks still open there, so we can see what she will do when completed?
