Yes Select the option for just the parts, and assemble it yourself to save dough.

no they dont sell used very much. I was looking for a used one for a long time and just gave up and bought one new. It was worth more than what i spent. They are way too nice of a part to ever sell, thats why you dont find many of them.

I have a 75mm you can have for cheap, brand new :-) From a Northstar engine, with all sensors brand new on it.

I'll take it if the price is right (and scott doesn't want it of course). Boosted89rs basically stole mine, long story. He also got a cam and 10 machined flanges from me before disappearing off the boards for the last 3 weeks. Anyways....

The correct answer was "because the 75 is overkill and creates drivability issues, even with boost". Another one of those things where people think bigger is always better.

Basically you have max flow well before you are giving it 100% throttle.

The 75mm really gave people that much of a problem over the 65mm units? This was even after some good tuning?

Yup. You also don't gain anything in simulations. Cheap is all it is. If it was worth doing, we would have made larger TBs.

So what is the consensus for optimal performance overall, boosted and N/A?

My experience with NA is 65 is the most. Some prefer 62 though it was only the original upgrade because that is the most you can fit on the gen 2 3.1 manifold.

Boost, I am not certain. Someone on v6z24 said they didn't like the 75 but I don't know what size he ended up using.
