    JUST A FEELER

    By chance does anyone have a set of forged pistons laying around? perferably stock bore and compression as i cant really afford to have my cyls bored out right now and i dont need more then stock compression..alittle lower may be fine as well depending on what it is

    I know I can order them directly but i dont wanna wait forever if i can help it
    1994 Chevy Corsica. Parted out. Just a rotting shell now

          i did the conversion rate on his anyway and it came out cheaper for me to buy from Wiesco directly

            Yeah so did I but I was willing to pay the extra to not have to wait 6 weeks. Even told him he could order another set and STILL be ahead of the game as long as he isnt using the pistons right away. Still no go.

            If he sells them to someone else now I'll be pissed!

                A little much CR for boost, isn't it? I would possably buy them if they were onsize since the 3500 heads would lower that number (heads I'm using on the new motor).

                What did they quote you, and was this with stock 3400 dish?

                  i never contacted wiesco myself but ive read is somewhere around 650 US for stock CR and and .020 over piston with rings and pin


                  BTW im not looking anymore..my issue isnt the rings so no forged piston for me yet
