  • FS: TGP Parts Entire Turbo Setup

Here is a complete turbo kit from a 1990 Turbo Grand Prix Parts Car. This is everything you need to take your NA 2.8 or 3.1 Cutlass Supreme, Grand Prix or other w-body and increase the power by approx. 60 hp. It is on Ebay right now below is the link. FYI the car had 126k on it and had a bottom end knock.

    Engine Parts:

    -TGP Intercooler
-TGP Intercooler piping and expansion joints (some are torn)
-TGP Cross over pipe with Turbo Flange (This has been rebuilt with new braided stainless expansion joint)
    -TGP Rear exhaust manifold
-TGP Turbo down pipe (Bolted Flange is in tact)
-Garrett T2 Turbo with some steel oil/coolant lines (the shaft feels like it has very little play and spins freely with no rough spots or noise, the impeller has plenty of clearance between it and the housing as it should, however 1 bolt is sheared off on the exhaust down pipe side, it was that way in the car I did not do this)
    -2 Bar MAP Sensor
    -TGP Integral Wastegate
    -TGP Wastegate Solenoid
-TGP Heater pipe (Used for coolant feed for turbo bearing cooling, very nice setup for oem)
    -TGP Transmission cooler
    -TGP Windshield washer tank
    -TGP Fans (Both of them)
    -TGP upper radiator shroud
-TGP upper thermostat housing and hose
-EPROM Chip from 90 Turbo Grand Prix
    -TGP Down Pipe Mounting Bracket

I just went to the yard and got the rest of the kit and it is on ebay with the rest although I did not add any pictures.

-TGP Upper Intake Manifold (Says 3.1 Turbo on it)
-TGP Transmission bracket (Specific to the TGP Turbo Mounts to it)
-TGP Fuel Injectors (Higher flow rating than stock 3.1)

    Pictures:

    Interior Parts:

-Dash Pad with HUD and HUD dimmer control
    -Gauge Cluster

This would be a pretty cheep way to get a turbo setup for a 3.1, 2.8 V6 1988 to 1990 or upgrade your NA STE to the Turbo setup and even gen III's if you can tune it yourself. Hp Tuners sells software to interface with 97+ N and W Cars PCM's. This is everything you need to do it! All you have to do is install it. As said earlier this stuff is on ebay now, I'm not looking to make a whole lot of money off this stuff I just want it to go to someone who will use it.

I just added two more parts:

-TGP Radiator ( Looks very new probably less than 6 mo old)

    - The Powermaster III should work fine the car passed NYS inspection May of this year. When I pulled the gauge cluster no bulbs were missing so chances are this one works fine, comes with accumulator, pressure switch, backing plate, resevoir cover and master cylinder unit.

I think all W-cars with 2.8 or 3.1 v6 from 88-92? Maybe even later years. Pm me if interested to discuss price.

No I did not repair it myself. I got it in that condition. I only advice is don't go with a smaller bellows, actually don't go with a bellows anything like the stock one. The weight of the turbo is acting on that crossover pipe to some extent even though the bracket supports it somewhat. Bellows do not function well in torsion which could be why most of them fail. Try to get ones with the braided overshealth. Or some other type of expansion joing design.

im using fully SS Braided flex joints.. Instead of 2" opening its 1.75".. That way there isn't too much slop with the smaller pipe.. thanks much

How's the turbo working out for you? I tried to buy this off ebay. My friend actually won the auction for me, but you reneged on it because the turbo was bad or some shit? I thought it was kinda shitty to back out of the deal once it sold, but hey that's me.

I especially liked when you told him there wasn't shit he could do about it.
