I have a 3500 up here in Ontario with the steel crank and a whopping 1k km on it (around 650 miles) . Id be willing to part with it for $1100 CDN and if you want it soon may be able to arrange a way to get it to you (I have friends going down with a truck to pick up a vehicle in PA.

Remember delivery is going to be expensive. Commercial to commercial, my 3.4 shortblock was $250 to deliver (based on the engine being about 180lbs, and the crate 40lbs).

My engine was listed at $450 and didn't sell on Ebay. So I gave it to my cousin for an turbocharged S10 swap later on. It already has a reground camshaft in it.

If I don't respond in a reasonable fashion to a question chances are I haven't seen the thread it was asked in, such is the case here.

You might think it strange that I gave it to him but we are very close and were turbocharging cars together before it was popular back in 1995. I also gave him an 86 IROC with a 383 small block TPI and my 350 TPI 5speed Fiero when I left for school back in 03. He sold the camaro and gave the Fiero back to me and I sold it.

Sorry, typo($450). As I had said on another board, if I had a tubular k-member, I would have been there picking it up from you (I live in the FtLauderdale area, and grew up in Bradenton), and the fact that I just sealed the deal for my 3.4 shortblock, which I paid $400 delivered . Driver_10 has managed to get a 3400 in a 4th gen fbody (also a memeber here), so I would have SOME guidance, but now I'm doing the gen1/3500 swap that I haven't seen anybody with yet. The closest I have seen is Raven's gen1/3400 hybrid, and he used a non-DIS block to do it.

Also would like to add that it's awsome that you have that kind of relationship with your family like that. I usually end up working alone, even though lots of friend say "call me and I'll come help". If I didn't have such a busy life with 4 kids, maybe I could schedule things like that a little easier, but I take advantage of nap-time or when they go to b-day parties etc, to sneak out to the garage and get something done.

I just brought a plasma cutter and it goes through metal like butter so clearing the crossmember for the aluminum pan shouldn't be a problem. I have a 3.4 from a totaled firebird that I purchased last year that was intended for the S10 but since he's getting the 3500 I need to get rid of the 3.4.

I was hoping the 3500 would go for more than the initial price. I still got rid of a lot of stuff and should have enough to at least buy those nice HP wheels to have installed later this year when I can afford tires. I'm going with 18x8 frt and 18x9 on the rear. They are located in Miami, saw a set on one of the Fiero members cars and they looked very nice. The black painted center is what I'm getting, I'm hoping they'll deal with me down to about $150 per wheel, I was told to call them for a deal when I was ready.

I've had discussions about the s-bodies before. You don't have a bolt on part (k-member) like us f-bodies do. Please post pics of the results!
