if u buy from him and by chance ur stuff ends up lost like mine he doesnt even meet half way (at least half money back) and he sends it w/ no insurance as he ships his stuff parcel post which is the worst

I got a crank and rods through parcel (not from twistedindy), and the crank was ruined. The box was crushed and beat pretty bad, I just don't understand when the buyer pays for shipping, why not do it right?

^ well said. Just NEVER EVER EVER EVER Ship VIA DHL. I shipped a tranny to a guy from the fiero forums, and they FUCKED it up. I mean annhialated it (AND parts were MISSING). This was like, 2-3 months ago, and i'm STILL dealing with them to get some kind of comp.

I will not ship DHL. I sawe them throw a package from the truck to the fron door at a neighbor's house as I was pulling out of my driveway. Well, it hit the corner of the garage (didn't make it to the porch) and bounced quite a bit. The gentleman (pun intended) got out of the truck, took 2 steps and picked up the package to throw it where it bounced off the door this time, then proceeded to back his truck out in front of my truck, as so I nearly clipped him. I have had some bad experience with UPS, none with USPS (costs a little more than UPS, but well worth it), and the bad experience with the crank that was both the USPS and senders fault. The sender never should have sent it USPS Parcel, and should have packaged it a lot better. He wrapped the pistons/rods with bubble wrap and the crank with paper, and the corner of the rod poked through to damage a journal, guess what I should have expected from a kid (no offence to the young adults out there )

dang! And yea, i'm 19, But i had everything pretty well wrapped in thick layers of towels. Including the clutch/pressureplate/etc that didn't even MAKE it to the guy. DHL FTMFL! And that's CRAZY about seeing them throw that stuff! Right there I would have called DHL and said something

And you forgot the rest of the story, that I was working on it and the post office admits to loosing the package, they have accepted it, like you know, so it is not my fault, it is tracked to them. Buyer did not purchase insurnace on the item therefore there is nothing that I can do really. I could refund him some of the money back, but then he starting sending me messages threatening that he was going to post messages, like this, about me, and I don't give in to that stuff. Don't threaten people.

Plus if there was a concern he could have always disputed with paypal, since that is how he paid me.

paypal woudnt dispute it and the reason for some of the threats is that u would come on and not answer me for few days or a wk until i made a threat and u say u would get back to me on certain day and never did and u never offered insurance and should be up to the seller selling the item to make sure who they r selling it to gets it and i did apologize since it took almost 2MONTHS to get that answer from the post office from u and i asked for the trackin # numerous times and never got it

Everyone hates USPS, DHL, UPS, Fedex, etc. No one can agree on anyone... if someone has a particular problem with getting their stuff from say DHL, then chances are it's a shitty driver in your area. The rest of the country uses those 3 companies, surely if the whole company fucked everything they received then everyone would know and they would have no business.
