I can measure the length on Mon for you.
Best I can tell... the 3500 is a close cousin to the Northstar... and is also a 90 deg V6... and DOHC...I don't think they are in the same engine family....

    1999-2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue
    2001-2002 Oldsmobile Aurora

I don't think they are in the same family as the 3.1L and 3.4L.... unless someone can shed some additional light.....

You are thinking of the Olds 3.5L, NOT the 3500.

What year, make, and model did the engine come in?

edit: Looking at the 60 DEG V6 Family Tree on here.....I see in '04... the 3500 in the Malibu... but when I look up replacement lifters for this motor at Advance Auto Parts..... the lifters show up as flat tappet.... not roller tappet....???

Goto the AutoZone website and do a search. I came up with a Melling hydraulic roller lifter, PN JB-2270, with a price of $15.99 each.

That site comes up with the correct lifter.... however... advance auto parts, napa, or oreilly's can confirm this. They are slacking I guess.... I was already doubting advance's site because they were showing a mechanical tappet.... I would think all OEM's were roller at this point......
