  • Wtb: Rwd 3.1

I am looking for a 3.1 to rebuild and put into my car over the summer. I just need a 3.1 longblock that is in good condition and at a decent price. I will swap over all of the accessories and intake from my 2.8. This is going into my Camaro. I would like to find one closer to where I live. I am in Tallahassee, FL. So preferably I would like to get on where I might be able to pick it up or not pay a fortune in shipping.

I'll take yours when you find a 3.4. If I can find another sooner I'l take that one.

I found a 3.4, just don't have the money for shipping yet. I didn't realize you were ready now.

I didn't even realize that you had your 3.4 already. It's good that you can't ship it yet, I need to save some money too probably. I just payed some bills and bought some other stuff I have been wanting.

We need to discuss further what exactly you want...

If you want to use the hypers I got (I'll only charge you $100 for them), the block needs to be bored (haven't had one done in a while, but it should be around $300). Otherwise, you can get a set of stock size hypers for about $125-150 providing the block can get away with honing. I haven't put a bore guage on the walls, but the cylinders look pretty good inside now.

Also this would be a good time to put a cam in since it is a lot easier to do on a stand.

If you still are considering doing a hybrid, there is a guy who wants to trade working iron heads for his 3.1 heads (I think they are the early smaller ports, but unsure)...
