  • Powder Coatings!

Hey guys, a buddy and I are trying to start a powder coating business. I was just wandering if anyone would be interested in having some parts coated.

The coating itself can withstand up to 450F degrees, and as you should know powder coating is one of the toughest coatings out there.

Ideal parts to be coated would be valve covers,UIM,trottle bodies, pulleys, forced induction piping, etc. Basicly anything steel or aluminum, that can withstand the heat to cure the powder. Exhaust piping and or manifolds/headers not recommended.

It is possible to do multi-stage layers, for instance; say you want your 3100 or 3400 UIM to have chrome lettering then a solid color on the rest of it.

In fact some colors like lollypop red (chrome red) use two layers, first chrome, then the transparent red.

Here is a list of colors we have ready to use:
    Gloss Red
    Gloss Yellow
    Ag Green
    Super Wet Black
    Extreme Chrome
    Black Chrome

    2 stage coatings:
    Lollypop Red
    Lollypop Blue
    Tropical Orange

There are alot more colors available that we can order, but if you want a color we will havto order, you must pay up front.

Right now we can coat anything within 20"lx18"wx12"t. Please let me know actual dimensions, and color/s for pricing.

I will add some pictures in the next few days.

    Thanks for looking.

We dont have a lot of space to work with right now. But if you think I can get it all in a 20"lx18"wx12"t space, in no more than 2 batchs, I can do those Items in super wet black for $50.00 USD plus shipping.

I do take Paypal, or you can send a money order or cashier's check with the parts. Let me know.

      Thanks for your time.

I need to see some pics first please. And what type of powder you use. Is this home stuff or industrial. I know there are alot of companies out there that sell shitty powder.

Alright I talked to ben, we're good to go now. I should be getting more pictures up tomorrow, this is all I have at the moment.

You cant see the chrome really good cause of the angle, but theres 3 layers on this peice, Chrome, Red, and Super wet Black. The powder is polyester TGIC made by Caswell.

That peice with the three layers ran about $65.00 USD.
The three layers was only possible because of the uneven surfaces.

One solid color on a peice like that would be about $45.00 USD.

i'm getting my x-laces PC right now.

Man that's some sexy power coating OP.
Why wont you do headers though? Powder coating and ceramic coating are quite common on those?

I'm lurking occasionaly. It's tough because I'm usually too busy with the Army or my 5.0 Mustang. Which is for sale.

It is usually not recommended to powder coat headers. We do have some high temp coatings but it even says not recommended for exhaust manifolds and headers. We dont have the stuff to do the ceramic coatings.

                          Heres some more pics guys
