Oh, and this IS a KFG turbo kit BTW!
I remember seeing the mock-up of this kit a few years ago and that part was not in the picture. I assumed they would get a better alignment between the TB-turbo, but I guess not. I don't understand why KFG didn't rotate the compressor outlet up a few degrees for a smoother transition.

As for the angle of the charge pipe... it's a really tight fit in there, and it was pretty much the only way to get it to fit under the deck lid. If the outlet of the compressor had been rotated up even 5* it would hit the underside of the lid.
Mine is so tight that with the flex of my stock tranny mounts under torque it lightly touches! (I have near solid poly mounts BTW - just have to install them!).

I need to call my dad and get pics of my engine for you guys. Its a twin turbo!
Its at my dad's place since I don't have the storage space. The turbos are from a kit originally, but the kit was brain-dead when we got it, so I tossed it in the garage for awhile. Anyway, we did other mods to the Fiero including the equal length race headers from FOCOA. Those were recently cut slightly and modified to feed the twin turbos we recently installed. Dual K&N filters feed the turbos with fresh cold air as they are mounted through the deck lid vents on each side of the rear window glass. Scoops force the hot air from inside the engine compartment to go behind the car and not back into the K&N.
Its been sitting for awhile. We blew through the head gasket (in 5 mins or less), found and installed solid wire O-ringed head gaskets and blew through a piston ring. Time for new piston rings ... and might as well do forged aluminum pistons if we go that far ... so its sitting needing cash.
Anyone have recommendations for forged aluminum pistons?
Thanks,
Evan

There's not a LOT of choices out there...
You can go to The Fiero Store - they have custom ones in +.030 & +.040 that are made for them by Probe Industries (no, you can't buy them direct, unless you want like 500 slugs done up!).
It's that, or you go with JE or Ross pistons, and you're looking at a pretty hefty price tag.
I'd be looking into the Fiero Store ones. Talk to Justin if you call there... tell him I sent you!
