Which computer for turbo '91 TDC??

I know this was discussed on the old forum but unfortunately I didn't save any of it. I'm planning to turbocharge a '91 TDC engine and I have the stock 16149396 computer. Can I use a turbo Grand Prix chip in the 16149396 or do I have to get a turbo GP computer *and* chip?

What tranny do you plan to use? The TGP chip does not have the code in it for controlling an electronic tranny. If you are using a manual, then you dont have to worry about it. As far as I know, you can use the TGP chip in the stock DOHC computer.

I'll be using a 5-speed manual.

Thanks, that's what I thought. At least the TGP chip will give me a baseline to start the engine and begin to tune from there.
