Well She has officially gone for her 1st boosted Test drive! all i need to say is i should have done it sooner! She runs nice and strong, pulls good and no probs as of yet. Im happy! All done with only minor Ghetto temperary ghetto riggn'

She definaly has some lag, But what can i expect with the 2" borla exhaust? but once it spools it goes! now just need to sneak threw emmissions and get plates again . I took it out tonight, my license plate frame pretty much blocks the 4yr old expired tags LMAO! now i need to install the boost gauge and see how much boost is actually making it to the motor.... all that pipeing and the I/C is probibly dropping a pound or 2 of boost. Its amasing how well a air-air I/C works.. I put my hand on the pipe going into the cooler in its warm but not hot and the outgoing air from the cooler makes the pipe ICE COLD! After i get plates back on her she is going in to get the exhaust freed up a bit and i should be in business!

I was just getting to that. Just hooked up a boost gauge... The wastegate has a 7spi spring and with everything said and done i am getting 5-6psi at the motor. Dyno is coming soon as well as 1/4 mile times. but to give you a comparison, i raced a GTP with exhaust and walked it. then i raced my old L67 Lumina (270hp 350TQ) and he was about 1 car up on me from a stop and then i reeled him in and creaped passed him. Wich as the lumina sits i ran a 14.2 (5800ft Altitude). so hopefully my monte will be in the 13's. I need to mount the battery and take it to the track.

That turbo will definitely lag. A 3" catless mandrel bent exhaust makes a huge difference in spool times though. Altitude also has a huge effect on spool times. IMO, the lag is not too bad and boost comes on fairly quickly.
