in that case, id swap every peice of wiring to a 96-99 (gets rid of the bcm) and run the motor off a stand alone. electrical is the biggest issue in that swap. it may be an idea to run aftermarket gauges, itll save a lot of hassle trying to make the stock ones work.

back onto topic- looks like an interesting turbo setup. ill have to keep my eye on this to see the final product.

Wow, Thats quite impressive Chris. That car is going to be a beast. He has a lot of money invested with you lately.

I happen to have a good idea of who it is. But, I'm not going to spill the beans. It seems you guys are keeping it hush-hush.

          Amazing work Chris!

One question though. How are you going to run that egr in the j-body. Might wanna make sure there is clearance for the old style egr & adapter.

Again, amazing work. Can't wait till you guys "unviel" this car.

The EGR is installed in those pics, so there's enough space for it.

            Thanks

There's actually quite a bit of access to the rear plugs, just doesn't show well in the pics.

Enough to change the plugs, with an extension and universal, on the middle one, and just an extension on the other two.

                          very cool

however, you may have some issues with boost creep with the way you have that wastegate.

from the pics, i can barely see any of the WG routing pipes, and from what i can decipher, your going to make the exhaust flow do a 180* turn from the collector and go down into the WG and then into the DP.

thats not the best way to do it and i dont know how well it will build boost and sustain a set level, so just keep an eye out on that.

oh, also, i dont know if i would grind down the welds as much as you have,

there is a good chance those may crack.

also, im not ragging on you either, you have a good idea and have done well putting it together. but there are some things that i have noticed that may cause you issues in the future

Yep, you're the first person to notice or at least point out the "possible issues", I know, I didn't like putting the WG that way, but it was the only way it would fit, using an internal was going to not leave enough room, but if we have to, I'll change to an internal. The WG is quite oversized for the application and it's still better than I've seen on some kits, that get mass produced, so I figure it should work for this application.

                              Thanks for the feedback.

Well, I drove her around last night and OMG , I forgot how much fun a turbo 660 could be, the sad part is I think it's quicker than my truck.

Anyway, FYI for anyone wanting to use the TH125C behind a turbo anything, I highly don't recommend it. In less then 10 miles the tranny doesn't want to hold the power, even at a mere 6 PSIG.
