Just a quick update, now that the fuel injector flow rate issue has been solved with the injectors from the GM 8100, 30 lb/hr, I'm patiently waiting for the first laser cut sample of the replacement 7x reluctor ring to solve the compatibility issues with the 3500. While lining up the crank to reinstall it into the block until the ring arrives hopefully next week for testing, I couldn't help but notice how much heavier the cast iron version of the 3500 crank is than the 3400. It must weigh about 10 lbs more.

I had to be careful during the reinstall around the rods to avoid damage to the journals and it got heavy quick. I didn't want to let it sit out for fear someone might bump into it, drop something on it or some unforseen damage to occur. So I let it rest in the block.

No word from Schneider Racing yet regarding my cam regrind. Since they have paypal I sent a donor cam with a note and their recommended cam specs, asking for a total so that I could pay it that way. Hope it's not causing them any stress, haven't quite figured out what to do about the pushrods yet.
