If the exhaust ports are D-shaped, aren't the manifolds made to match? And if they are and it doesn't matter, why not just use the turbo Grand Prix manifold?

just realized the d port thing. I didn't think TGP manifolds would be easy to find
I wish 10% of the people on the road knew how to drive

The D shaped 3x00 ports are much larger than the round ports on the genII manifolds. If you compare the two back to back you'll notice that the INSIDE of the D-shaped ports pretty much run right to the edge of the outside of the round ports. Theres not enough material on the stock manifolds to port match the round ports into the D shape without having to worry about cracking constantly.
The TGP rear manifold wont be very effective with the 3x00 ports because it cant be properly matched. Not enough material.

You can use the 3x00 manifolds and plug the downpipe then use a custom crossover (which is what I did). Its not as easy as it looks though. Im still working on getting my custom crossover right, but I have alot of crap in the way that Im trying to work around and Im doing it outside of the car.

Your best bet would be to buy the 3x00 header flanges from Farmer and fabricate yourself either some shorty turbo headers or a larger log manifold and custom crossover. I plan on do this eventually, but dont have the time or tools to go this far with it right now so the stock manifolds will have to do.
