That...is awesome! I've seen remote turbos, but that one is the best so far. Stacy rules. He makes Diesel from French Fry grease!
If you are driving a Chevy, everything else, is just a blur. 3.4 Carbon Footprint.

Yah, I'm not into Pickups alot, but that show is funny, and really informative. I was thinking, seeing as my vans a tight squeeze under the hood, that may be perfect.

for 4-5 grand, you could get something alot nicer...

I spend most of my time on turbomustangs.com (not just mustangs) and they make lots of really nice setups on the cheap.

I like the idea of having a remote turbo, but there is a down side to it. since the turbo isnt near the tb it takes longer to build boost.
but it is still a good idea.

from what i know, theres an electric oil circulating pump for the turbo.

i wonder how it would hold up to debris from the road. cans, rocks, the occasional part off a wrecker... thats the only thing that shoots it down for me. if i d a fast car i'd drive it all the time, and most of the roads i drive are rural, so they arent in top shape.

why not just buy a turbo and run the piping urself? many said they make boost almost as fast as a engine mounted turbo...

Read about turbine theory and then make your decision.

Myself, I will never run a remote turbo, due to many factors.

if you want to make boost at a decent RPM with a remote mount turbo you will max the turbo out at a very low boost level due to the insanely high AR on the hot side required to make any sort of boost at a low RPM with a lot of tubing
