    Would there be an advantage to using a spline adapter connected directly to the crank (as opposed to belts and pulleys) to connect a centrifugal supercharger?

    It wont work right. You need to overdrive a centrifugal blower, splined to the crankshafy would yeild and 1:1 ratio.
    Only thing that has been done in the past that resembles your idea is a potvin drive for gmc 71 series blowers.

      That's primarily where I got the idea from the potvin blowers.

      how do you mean by "it won't work right"? Not enough revs?

        exactly. to make sufficeint boost, blowers must be overdriven.
