ya, i got it still somewhere, i could send it to you, just give me your email address and i'll send it when i get a chance, and i found the problem with the car lossing power under boost after 4k, its the intake pipeing is to small and can;t flow enough , so when i get some time, i;m gonna plus size it to 2 1/2-3 inch, and i also order the cam adjusting tool, to try to squezz some more power

Change the compressor. THe turbine is fine...as its big. Its is even used on Grand nationals. The compressor is too small. Get one from a ford turbocope (60 trim)or a grand natinal (super 60). ..or hit ebay for a t04 compressor setup (50 trim). I just keep looking at that quadrajet sucking turbo limiting you to less than 250 crank hp. "The Buick's compressor A/R ratio (stamped inside the outlet) is 0.42. The Pontiac uses a 0.60 compressor A/R.
      "-Before Black website.

Do you mean change the compressor or the compressor housing. One of those is easy and the other is not.

The compressor side as a whole. Compressor housing and wheel.

            Tgtu...
The later yrs ( '86-'87 or even '88 ) LC2 engines had a .60 A/R comp. housing with a 48mm wheel. That is plenty for a 3.4DOHC under 14psi...this is also assuming a relatively stock engine...

I've got two turbos sitting in my room - one a new T04E 57 trim - the other a grand national with i believe an exhaust a/r .83

I just wish there was someone local in Maryland that know what they are doing with the TGP code to help me fine tune it

almost done plumbing in the T04E and rather large intercooler (rated for 800hp) and then i'll be fine tuning with a moates.net setup.. hoping to provide numbers soon

                  GEt a better turbo please.

212 hp on 7.5 psi is pretty bad. yea it might have a bit of lag but its way too inefficient for that motor of yours. A REgal turbo is a larger T3 version but the dohc flows way more air then it can provide. Eff goes way down, intake temps rise, detonation threshold goes down and you make less power.

Hell 1.6 liter hondas make that much hp on 8 psi as well.

if you are a12:1 a/f across the rpm band then it appears your a/f is ok but your spark tables might be off. What is your total timing at? Of course when you increase timing you increase the chance of detoatnion esp with that turbo since intake temps are high. More timing will mean more fuel being burned so you will have to also readjust your fuel tables so you don't run lean.

maybe, but my engine gott's something that most honda's dont; Torque, i upgraded my pipeing form my intercooler to the engine form 2inch to 2 1/2, and incresed my power band by about 1000rpm after i redynoed it, i'll post the new dyno sheet once i get it scaned, and i plain on takeing it to the track later on this week to see what numbers i can pull off if my clutch holds together, once my clutch goes i;m gonna be upgrade ing my down pipe to 3inch, that should make a huge difference, for the 2 1/4 it is right now, its around 15 degrees of timing at 8psi with zero detention on mid grade

a 2.25" downpipe and midgrade gas? you gotta be shitting me... the stock crossover is 2.25" tubing and thats only for 3 cylinders..

I'm on the last part of my intallation right now - got the oil return line welded in last night - now I just have to weld up my 3" downpipe and modify the intercooler end tanks to fit the fiero frame..

can't WAIT to have it running so i can tune it and get it dynod

my exhaust is all of 3 feet long afetr the turbo - 3" downpipe through a flex coupling and a compact high flow cat - split to two 2.25" tube mufflers and out the back..

problem i'm discovering is most of these damn cone filters and breather filters use plain steel wire and get all rusty.. time to find some quality products

You are going to make me post the plot of the GN turbo on here and you will cry knowing how shitty of a turbo it is for your setup.

But why would I want to do that? Do it your own way and make no power. I could care less. One less car on the road I have to worry about beating me.

well it i have to agree with you on the turbo not being the best choice for the dohc motor, but it came down to $ when i started this project, it works ok for the 50 bucks i paid for it, and actually i was given another turbo with a .52 trim, and 1.15 a/r with screwed bearings in it, and i gonna make a hybread t-type turbo with it, and hopefully that will help out a bit, until i buy a new one,
