Need turbo help for 89 z24

i am currently in the process of rebuilding a 3.1 mpfi for my 2.8 89 cav. and now i am thinking about adding a turbo to it. but i am not that good on the turbo subject. i was wondering if anyone would know what turbo i should use and intercooler, and what i have to do to make this work, like injector size, computer upgrades or chip and igintion if necesary. i am looking to make about 10-12 pounds of boost, no less the 8 and between the 2500-5500 rpm range. also what compression ratio i should go with. my heads and intake manifolds will be mildly ported and polished and i have the 255lph walbro fuel pump. any help would be good.

Not to sound like an ass, but how come the last 10 or so threads have all been "I want to add a turbo... pick the right one for me"? We have had PLENTY of discussions on this topic, so do a quick search and I bet you will find some answers. But I'll give you the first hint, that is in EVERY thread about turbos...

Go out and buy Corky Bell's book about turbos. It's called "Maximum Boost" or something like that. That way you will actually have an idea of what you are doing and what you are getting yourself into. There are guys on here that could spit out an A/R and trim of a turbo, and I bet you wouldn't have any clue as to what they were talking about. Do some research first... if you still have questions, then come back and ask.
