    Anybody seen these 12 Volt Electric Inline Blowers they are said to give 250 CFM is this enough, just wondering if anybody had any experience with these.
    1995 Cutlass Supreme 3100 SFI
    Cold Air K&N Filter
    58mm TB
    Dynomax Duel Exhaust with Performance Catalytic Converter
    FFP Underdrive Crank Pulley
    1/4 mile 15.65 at 90.8 mph

      Yeah, I got one .. gave me tons of low end! .. Im pushin an extra 50hp!! .. heh .. they cost like $50 and IMO are a waste .. 250 aint enuff anyways .. I think they used for marine boats ..

          Damnit!! We lost the E-SC myth in the site crash... Guess I'll have to go find that article from Hot Rod again. It mentioned that in order to be able to build up enough boost to be worth it, you would need a semi-trailer to haul the electric motor. Yeah, it'd be that big...

            I think I started that topic - with the idea of making some sort of electric supercharger, like from a hairdryer or something

              So what you guys are saying its a waste of time you should go with the real deal Eaton?

                  I'm not going to go so far as to say they're a scam, but they're utterly pointless, at least for automotive applications, well maybe if you were driving a yugo. If you're really serious about having boost, get a real super charger, or better yet a turbo charger. But do yourself a favor, and do all the supporting mods before hand.

                            you can buy a real supercharger or turbo kit for cheaper than that.
