I guess you could say its a 3100... it could share a 1999+ intake manifold with one... but the block is a year 2000 3400sfi through and through.

I hate saying "man, this thing is fast" as a mean of rating my car but unfortunately that is all that I can say at this time. I spent forever working the kinks out of my manual tranmission swap and suspension upgrade this summer while I was taking classes. I only got the blower on the car with the manual 2 weeks ago and driving. Needless to say it doesn't hook up well in the cold bumpy michigan roads. I have run a best of 14.2 over a year ago and with all the stuff I have done now, I can guarantee you guys it runs a 13 something easily. No slip yet though, only the 14.2 from long ago.

Its really rough around the edges, but its unbeleivably fun to drive. I have goodyear eagle F1 tires with front upper and lower braces. A rear tower brace. a rear 26mm sway bar. Front FE7 swaybar. New tierod ends, ball joints, and poly control arm bushings. Delete all the interior weight and sit around 270hp and 5 gears... its a nice toy. Just looks funny.
