I know a guy who was running 10psi on his stock 3.1 Cavy.

He swapped in a 3400 (The 3.1 didn't blow up or anything) and he's now running about 10psi on that stock motor.

      So....10psi

If the stock bottom end can take a 250 shot a few times and not die...id say you can safely boost it quite a bit with proper tuning. PSI depends on the turbo and any other engine work.

Those were only like 2.3L 4 cyliners, I'd say you'd need bigger considering the stock turbo on the TGP is on the small side.

*looks at avatar* Hmm, yep Ford Turbo coupe turbo, works well.

i did find that in my application it was probably a bit on teh smallish side, but there were other factors that are being changed along with the turbo I'm changing.

Don't assume by engine size that a turbo will be too small or too large, there are other factors involved.

I wouldn't trust it with anything more than 12. Especially on the stock ignition/ECU. Hell Luke's TGP(running 11.5), HAD to run premium, and knocks slightly with anything less than premium.
