    i dont think the GA one would be a good choice for a manifold for a turbo.

    that DP flange area would take up A LOT of room where the turbo DP would go.

    and i also believe that the flow on that back through the xover would not be very good, but it may actually be better than the T style below it in the pic, i would have to look a lot closer at the GA's rear mani, but i dont think the flow characteristics of the mani would be benificial to use in a turbo setup

      Well I'm not sure if I have on in my garage but when you come over this weekend bring one with you and we can compare them! Also bring all the ones you have! Cause if that 3400 has to come out I will do most of my mach up out side of the car!

        Im using a GA rear mani for my turbo setup. Its the one shown on the actual engine in the pics above. I plugged mine right up inside the downpipe portion as close as I could. It shouldnt cause much exhaust gas to get pushed back at the cylinder. When I first looked at the outside of the manifold I thought otherwise, but its not too bad on the inside. My crossover is completely custom and locates the turbo where the battery used to be.

        Any stock manifolds are a poor choice for turbo manifolds in my opinion. Mick raises some good points about the strength and heat insulating factors of the cast manifolds, however I disagree with the statement that strong mild steel tubular manifolds cant be made. It can be done with research and bracing.

          That's the one thing that is nice about the DOHC engines... you can just put a front manifold on the rear and they line up perfectly.... Too bad that doesn't work for the pushrod motors too.
