    the flow wasn't the issue, it was the pressure.

    flow and pressure also tend to be inverse of each other, depending on the situation.
    1995 Monte Carlo LS 3100, 4T60E...for now, future plans include driving it until the wheels fall off!

      Yep, If i open the drain back up a little i will have less pressure and more flow. It least it should!

        Got my knock off from CXRacing.com

        The first one lasted over a year with AFR in the high 10's (way to rich for mild boost) and a pin hole exhaust leak causing the turbine to overwork itself.

        And still it was working fine until I took it apart and ruined the seal.

        The second one now is going strong and boosting up well. I'll get a name-brand turbo once I'm done working on this sucker.

          This is the route I'm going to go. I can't beat the name brand, reliability (100's of k miles on diesels) and price point. Now I have to do some research to find if I will be using a 35 or 40 and figure the other factors from there.
