  • got boost?

well here are a few quick pics of what i got done today

basically all i need to do is do a final sanding on the welds and the xover, flange, and wastegate tube/flange will be ready.

this weekend, i am going to put this puppy in with a 3" downpipe that should only take me a few hours to complete and then next wed's i will have the new exhaust setup put on by Pats Muffler and Welding.

and for those that want to know, i have done all of this for LESS than $1500 and i have all BRAND NEW parts. nothing is used.

keep in mind, this is with a VERY cheap digi cam i got from walmart for like $15 hahaha

Is that the Holeset turbo off a Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel?...Looks awsome. Where are you going to support the turbo?

        no, its not the holset.

its made by Master Power which does provide turbo's for a lot of the detroit desiels out there.

the turbo just so happens to sit right under the diagonal brace on my car, so there will be a support that is worked off of that, and then if need be, it will be right above the frame and a support can be worked out from under the turbo as well, but i dont think that will be needed
but this one is not one of those, this is quite a bit smaller than a desiel turbo, lol.

That looks pretty cool! Got to appreciate the effort you put into a project like that, especially starting from scratch. No bolt-ons truly makes for a one-off vehicle. Good luck!

Hey, I was just thinking. You might want to slap an expansion tube on that crossover to prevent future headaches. You can get them from jc whitney, and they arent that bad to install.
