    Whats your advise concerning Joseph?
That one is real nice, for clarification I was referring to having your peak boost level AND max rpm point wind up in the center island (the last plot point) which is usually representative of a large compressor wheel and that takes longer to spool up. The closer you get your last plot point to the right but still in the safe zone the quicker you can expect the turbo to spool up.

I stay away from the knock offs on Ebay because clearly in many cases they are lying about the specs, for example, if you list a turbo as a T67 and in the specs in the listing it shows a 55 mm inducer, it's NOT a T67. A T67 has a 67 mm inducer that's why it's called a T67. I had to return the first two ebay turbos I ordered for my project because in each case the independent sellers were not even close about what they sold me. I just had the presence of mind to measure the wheels on receipt. I wound up buying from a company in CA.

I already got good exhaust flow, i run a way hotter plug, i already got a colt cam in the 3.1, 8mm wires, 3.5 intake with a k&n filter and a simple tune, this motor eats alive regualr n/a 3800 all night long when its cool, and what gauge of wire would work for the relocation kit.... i have 4 gauge in the the garage... is that thick enough or do i need to go thicker??

From my own experience, 2ga is effective. It stood up to multiple, extended cranking. Considering the distance, roughly 8 feet, 2ga did well so far.

4 gauge should work but I have a suggestion. Run 2x 4ga cables from the trunk. One leads to the starter and the other leads directly to the alternator. Positive that is. It will be equivalent to 1ga wire.

If you do it right, you could probably get low boost (5 psi) for under 1 grand if you dont mind cheaper parts. Even a used Garrett could be found at a discount on line.

Joseph, I too dislike Ebay turbos. My last one was from CXRacing and it still is a China-Charger but the specs were correct. I got lucky I guess. But no more gambling as my vehicle is worth more them some Chinacharger just waiting to self destruct. Funny to say it but my Wideband is worth more then the cxracing turbo, lol.

So the Turbonetics T04E-50 (the one you quoted) is the turbo for me. The CXRacing T04E-50 spooled up darn quick. Logging shows the boost started at 2800 and reached a full 8 psi at 3400 rpm. Not bad at all, especially for a manual swap....lol, shes gonna be fun to drive!

TEMP THREAD JACK - Now, I don't know if the $400 upgrade to Ceramic Ball Bearings is worth it or not......anyone? - JACK OFF

              No this a rare occasion.

I bought the parts to build my dog bone for my and welded it together then heat treated it to strengthen it.

I think you can buy the poly from any of the major poly suspension kit makers, or machine them from raw poly.

The harder part is the machined tubing unless you find poly that fits standard size tubes.

              Doesn't WOT sell them?

i thought i remember reading info on W-body.com on the upgrades page about the bushings needed to make the dogbone bushings polly. the dog bones are not the strong to start with (made of some cast junk metal) i have heard of them breaking with hard driving.

If not... I bought my dog bone as a 'kit' from West Coast Fiero. And welded it to fit. But I have a TIG welder so that part was easy...
