        talk to rodney i believe he has the same name on here 3400beretta ( he is on Beretta.net)he is the first to turbo a 3500 in beretta and has run 12.57 in the 1/4 mile and should hit 11s with ease this yr. what yr is your car shane and is it a 5spd already????

          Its a 95 z26 and no its not a 5 speed yet. I'm going to get the trans at the end of April.

            then you know you will have to covert the car to obd 1 or obd2 right. your best bet would be to try and find a 96 beretta or corsica and swap out the harness or talk 3x00modified and he can tell you how to repinn your harness and if im not mistaken their is a write up on beretta.net for it too

              Yeah, he'll help you out . Barry has also done megasquirt if you want to go that route... Also can buy the conversion kit to go OBD1 which is also a fairly decent route.
              You may or may not know 10 times what i do.
              ASE Master certified. Just means I can take tests. GM ASEP Graduate.
              95' Z26, ported/cammed 3400/3500, OBD2, 282, T3T4. Boxes almost all empty..

                  but you also need the harness unless your goin to repinn your current one to make it obd2

                      You will also want an HPTuners setup to tune it later down the road, although I don't remember if the 96 Berreta PCM was supported under HPTuners. For some reason (mostly 3400-modified's car) I'm thinking it's not (since he is using a Chevy Venture PCM, IIRC).

                        yes that all you need and you may wanna get the cluster too but dont quote me on it

                        it might be supported but the reason why 3x00 modified is using venture pcm is that it has better tables to use and is able to dial them in better and the mapping is different. i just dont know how different till i get mine to start tuning my gtps and my beretta

                          So would I be better off getting a venture, or a Malibu, or what if I get the ecu and harness from the Malibu that the 3500 is coming from.

                              if you use malibu harness you will have to do fair share of splicing and finding where things go where if you have 96 harness its just swap n go. and if you use the 96 harness you can get just bout any pcm and have some parameters changed and your car would run fine. i have 94 beretta with obd2 swap and have grand am pcm in it and the auto tranny is disabled to run the 5 spd tranny and it still tells me when to shift. the venture grand am and malibu pcm are whats supported by the tuners but they also have better tuning tables also
