ok so i think i finally made the decision to boost my car as opposed to building for NA. 60degreev6s can be really fast NA but it wont have the power im looking for. so this will be my turbo car, then im gonna get like a 95 camaro w/ a 3.4 and lt1 or ls1 swap it and that will be my NA build (i wanted both NA and turbo)
so couple questions. i know quite a few people run around 6psi on a completely stock engine and dont necessarily have any problems. and they see upwards of 200whp. so..if i COMPLETELY build a 3400 for boost, and slap a decent size turbo on it..i should be able to push 10-15psi and make roughly 300whp all day. (just random assumptions from what ive been looking at)
id build it with cometic head gaskets, ALL ARP hardware, any forged part i can find, turbo ground cam, competition heads, competition LIM and UIM, 65mm tb...you know, the works.
now comes the main question. where do i get turbo headers?!?! i know here and there someone sells them but thats once in a blue moon (im aware some are possibly being sold now..but incase that doesnt work out...) So are their specific shops that anyone knows of that will do it. and don't tell me any ole shop..i want someone that knows what they are doing on the 3x00 engines and possibly has already done it.
also, do you think im close on how much boost i can give it..10-15psi? i want a pretty big ball bearing turbo. thinking garrett or turbonetics.
