Will be expensive and probably very difficult to have a straight riding belt that will not wear fast, slip, &/or pop off. I'd recommend a cam since you will need to produce initial power to make more power.Lifting my front wheels, one jack at a time.

He should have a 7730. That will be an easy part of the equation as long as he finds a reputable tuner and not some shmoe that wants to throw more parts at it (secondary injectors, using of a MAF with SD, using an piggback for ignition timing/edis module and hacking in resistors) when not truly needed.
Proper belt routing and tension will be difficult with his transverse situation. He doesn't have a RWD 3.4 setup like you.Lifting my front wheels, one jack at a time.

"HURR YOU INJECTAS IS 2 BIG, CAN'T GET DEM UNDA 8MS!"
but yes, guessing by the screen name, beretta GTUs with a LH0 would have a 7730, you could just run TGP code and be almost done with that alone. code 59 could work better but would be a bit more involved.
