    Actually, they just turned the whole thing around; the trans is still mounted to the back of the motor. The F20C (and later F22C) had the intake manifold on the driver's side and the exhaust on the passenger side.
    The v-drive setup is still pretty crazy though.

      that is correct. the engine is just spun around the opposite direction, but still FWD, they did this to stay in the FWD class or racing. Last i heard they where destroying the V-drive systems and the company that builds them keeps finding ways to make them even stronger.

          i think i've actually seen that exact car in a magazine...
          1995 Monte Carlo LS 3100, 4T60E...for now, future plans include driving it until the wheels fall off!
