I saw in your list you had an intercooler pipe. Where did you put the intercooler, I didn't see any of the components in the picture... I am guessing you have one anyway with 11psi

Congrats Jake, you are one of 4 that I know of on the forum now with a 3.4 DOHC boosted in a W. Tim, Shane and I are all running boosted 3.4 Auto's, its great to hear a 5 speed. I know on mine it spools around 3k and man it pulls hard. I am looking into more power here shortly, well see though.

Thanks, ya these motors just love boost, i think im gonna turn mine to 14psi, max out the 2 bar lol fine tune it and then ill be done with it, the car already has absoulutly zero traction as it is, and with no traction its still getting 13.8 in the 1/4 @ 107mph. i know if it can get it to hook and get my 60 ft down i can get it into the 12's . ill have to scan the slip, but for now ill just type the numbers out from the last time i was at the track just before i exploded my axle:
Reaction : + .3248
60 ft. : 2.312
330 ft. : 6.2241
ET @ 594 ft : 8.7242
1/8 ET : 9.2672
1/8 MPH : 82.88
1/4 ET : 13.8881
1/4 MPH : 107.69
thats my best time so far, but its all traction issues, once i get stonger axles ill have to run slicks or something, that run was just on street tires.

That had to be St. Thomas 'cause it's the only track I know that measures at 594 feet!
But your times are all over the place. Wow! 9.26 at the 1/8 is slow but still almost 83 mph! Must start coming on like crazy! (By comparison I'm 9.1 at ~ 77)
Well done!!Last edited by asylummotorsports; 10-28-2009, 04:50 AM.

Yeah, that is St. Thomas , its the closest track to me, and im really pissed at Grand Bend Motorplex.
But ya the 1/8th is slow, then it just starts to haul ass, i need to work on getting my 60 ft down and getting the car to hook up, having zero traction off the line really screws with your times.
As for the axles, i really do need stronger ones, i had the same mentality that the stock ones were strong enough until i dropped the pressure in my street tires to 15 psi and this happened:
So ya im not going back to the track until i get stronger ones and a set of either DR's or slicks.
Next year, i better hit 12's lol thats all i want.

St. Thomas is one crazy track.
I raced there alot this year.
60ft is quicker in the right lane by almost a tenth some days to the point I don't believe it any longer, and no one has ever explained the 594ft thing to me.
But it's old school and alot of good racers.
Grand Bend I haven't been to alot, and not at all this year. Just "that much" too far from Hamilton with Cayuga 35 minutes away and St. Thomas about an hour away.

Yeah, St. Thomas is definatly a crazy track, i think there comps are messed up for sure.
My buddy went from St. Thomas one day right over to grand bend and ran 3 tenths faster in the 1/4 so it makes me wonder.
If u say you went alot this year im sure we were there at the same time at one point i was there many times this summer too, mostly saturdays.
were u there for the opc bash weekend?
