if you're seriously considering this, you should also consider just starting with a 3500 or 3400/3500 hybrid. the more power you make before the blower the easier it will be. since the 3500 makes 210(?)HP, you're a little over halfway there. technically, if you changed nothing else and assuming perfect/near 100% efficiencies, adding ~14.7 PSI would double your horsepower...

LQ1s DO respond well to boost, just ask RedZMonte(?), i believe he has a M90 on top of a 3.4...

i just found half a dozen M112's in great shape for under $500 on ebay & in my area, so this thread can be closed.

a twincharged M90 lQ1 is a beautiful thought but the common consensus is that its not worth it when compared with going the route of an m112, and seeing as the m112 puts out 400-500hp on the ford lightning's, so that is what i will work with

well until yesterday i had only found them for 800 bucks, for $400 id just go with 2 if i was only looking for 400-450, but at nearly the same cost its not worth it.

You don't want any thing to do with eaton blowers. Go turbo vary easy and cost way less then building a manifold and going threw the hell of alignment and belt slip problems I am going threw.

if you want to stick with a supercharger, you need to think beyond the hEatons for more power........

I want to ge my hands on a whipple but I dont have the money. Whipple would be a nice way to get to 400hp range. Car has been running amazing. Iv been driving it every day a hour to work every day it loves the cold and snow but hates rain. Rain shorts my ign system and drops a few cyls and sc belt slips bad. But other then that I love it.

for anyone considering this-if you intend to run atleast 9psi each charger is going to remove about 45 crank hp & make a great deal of heat-so theres the answer to that question.
