ok, i'll start at the beginnning:

STOP TALKING ABOUT REMAPPING, it sounds like you're talking about a ricerocket.

tuned, thats the word you're looking for. and the chip, should the ECM come with one, will be tuned for whatever vehicle it came out of, meaning you'll need a custom chip, not a big deal, lots of people do it.

and the idea is to use a GM ECM instead of a aftermarket fuel management system since there is a very good chance that something important WILL NOT work with the aftermarket ECMs since they are not made specificly for the vehicle, they have to cut on features.

TCC: Torque Convertor Clutch... it locks the torque convertor, lowering engine speed, increasing fuel economy, and extending engine life, among other things, but since you have a manual tranny, don't worry about it, it doesn't apply to you.

cams are built to customer specfications on wottech by Ben, but idealy, theres one or two options on there i believe for turbo applications

Actually the HX35 is dimensionally the same as a Garrett gt40, so, yes, it will work on an iron head motor just fine. We used on on our 2.5l BMW race car (SOHC) and it propelled it to a 12.33@117mph with a lowsy 2.0 60'.

Ben usually has me deal with the iron head and gen1 cams
