Ok ive done a lot of reading, and this is what i have gathered about the fuel/air stuff. If i use the eaton m90 supercharger on my 3.4 (2.8 top end), all i need is an FMU (8:1, 10:1, 12:1???) and afpr to keep the engine from detonating? Is this correct? What about my 2.8 MAF will it confuse the computer? Also should i consider a larger fuel pump? Again this is all in my 88 firebird.

Retarding ignition timing under boost will be a must so something will have to be done with the computer. A stronger fuel pump is a good idea too to prevent failure and lean mixtures under boost. You can also get a 2nd, inline fuel pump similar to what the Ford F150's use.Last edited by Azrael; 05-18-2009, 11:32 PM.1995 Grand Am SE
