use at minimum a t3 .63 housing, i would see 12 psi by 3k in first gear with my old t3/t4.the .84 housing im running now is a lil laggier but deff makes more power uptop (6k+ rpms)

and dont worry about the motor choking above 5k cause it wont, boost a stock motor and it will pull all the way to redline if the turbine housing dosent choke it

Well, it's done. Ordered the T3/T04E 50 trim compressor and .63 A/R Stage III turbine today. Found one with a water cooled, ball bearing center section for a comparatively reasonable price at AP Tuning.

Turbine housing has a T3 inlet and 5 bolt Ford style outlet. Picked up a stainless T3 inlet flange and stainless "ultimate" internal wastegate with 3" v-band outlet.

Still need to find the right wastegate actuator....

That should work well. It won't give you peak power, but will give you an awesome street powerband.

That's exactly what I'm looking for.

So, the FedEx truck came by and dropped off an interesting box

            Here's the T3/T04E turbo:

A shot of the turbine exit

And another looking through the 3" v-band "Ultimate wastegate"

So the plan is to use this Sy/Ty W2A intercooler

and this dual 48mm LT1 throttle body (same one as used on the Sy/Ty)

Finally most of the big ticket items have arrived.

Still need to finish the design parameters of the sheet metal intake that will be needed for the throttle body, and fab up both it and the exhaust system. Then, of course, it's being nickled and dimed to death with oil and water fittings, hoses, clamps, W/G actuator, W/G solenoid, BOV.......

I understand that nickle and dime effect all too well

Yeah, we just signed the documents to buy a new house yesterday, so I expect that I'll probably have to spread out, or defer, car part purchases until we finish paying for landscaping and fencing.

Had plans for body mods to the Fiero, including new side scoops, recessed headlights, F355 front bumper, hood vent, changing the profile of the notchback, adding a rear spoiler... I guess body mods and paint can wait until next year...
