i do have a diaphram/disc kit for the FMU somewhere. so if you wanted to change the disc/diaphram to a different ratio. it has all the avalible ratios.. if your interested i am willing to sell it cheap. i don't use an FMU anymore so i have no need for it. let me know.

I would think the biggest part of using a FMU would be deciding what ratio to use i've seen 8:1 - 12:1 used on the DOHC with T4 and t3/t4 hybrids. Monitoring the exhaust with the o2 sensor and a/f gauge is probably the only way to know for sure. Can Tuner pro be used in the place of the gauge by datalogging? Or will the narrow band stock (one wire ) 02 sensor still work with a a/f gauge?? The wide band and a/f gauge kits start around $250...

narrowband(stock) o2 sensiors don't work with A/F guages, those are meant to be hooked up to a wideband sensor.

tunerpro can datalog a wideband, provided you have some way of hooking the output of the wideband sensor into the aldl datastream somehow. i know you can with the autoprom, but i don't know if anything else can.

I had thought that tunerpro can record the voltage from the o2sensor and from there arrive at the A/f ratio? which would replace the A/F gauge??

having the stock narrowband be your way of checking the a/f ratio isn't the greatest way of telling if you're running the way you want. narrowbands are only accurate at 14.7:1(supposably), widebands work everywhere from like 9:1 to 18:1(i don't know the exact numbers, just illustrating a point). go to tunerpro.net and check the forums there and you'll probably find information about what you're trying to do there. worst case, email mark mansur, seeing that he made tunerpro, he would know what to do...
