    Alright, problem fixed, it was the plugs.

    I Put in stock Ac Delco R42LTSM plugs, set gap to .035" instead of the .045" stock gap

    works good, thanks for the help, now im just kind of worried about KR so ill have to hook up the laptop and try and get it to datalog and check for knock.

      Question about detination on hemi style engines... is it true that you don't get as much detination due to the positioning of the plug in the center of the cylinder? (if that makes sence...)

        I would think that there would be less detonation, on dohc setups, because of the airflow it runs cooler, this is why i can have my egr disabled and still only produce 3 nox on an etest, because the airflow is so great it cools the combustion temps greatly, but im not sure if it has anything to do with spark plug position.

          I noticed you fixed the problem, but I am surprised no one mentioned a plugged catalitic converter. That actually got me TWICE on my car and took me a while to pin-point the issue. now, i use a test pipe. heh.

            Ah , i know what a plugged cat feels like lol ive diagnosed many at work, this was nothing like that, especially because it would pick its power back up after 6000rpm and usually a plugged cat would make it fall on its face at 4000rpm and never pick up.
