  • Which is best for Boost and Why?

I am going to buy an engine for my Monte Carlo very soon so that I can get started on the build. Which is best for boost, a 3400 or a 3500? 3500 intakes are probably the better choice especially after Ben preps them, but I have heard different things about the heads. I'm just curious what the boost pros think.

Fully ported for boost the 3400 heads are better but I dont remember the exact reason why. I would think a full 3500 would be better to boost as its bigger to start with and has the oil squirters on cyls 5 and 6. Those would help for a happier engine IMO but its not as direct drop in as the 3400. You have to rewire a couple things and get the external crank trigger from the store here
