The majority of the swappers are still building up iron heads with the Fiero's restrictive intake or even worse a naturally aspirated 3800 when the 3400 and 3500 with a little of the mods they are doing would return a lot more performance. As I stated in the PM, don't waste your breath, just show them.Last edited by Guest; 10-21-2008, 06:15 PM.

Most of the rehtoric is from individuals that are thinking in iron head terms because they have little to no knowledge or experience with what the aluminum head motors can do and only know about what has been achieved with the 3.4L.
Despite what Superdave has accomplished naturally aspirated, they're not making the connection with what the same engine can do turbocharged.
Even your engine with its smaller displacement out performs the 3800 SC, but they're still flocking to it.Last edited by Guest; 10-22-2008, 06:38 AM.

I show that video because it's my favorite. I love the way the Mustang jumps the light and you still manage to chace him down after spinning your tires for what's probably a second

lol. True. If the car is happy with me tonight you'll have some new times to brag about. Took the system out, getting better radials (hopefully) better "meth", going to bring the rear up alittle probably and going hoodless for less weight and because I broke one of my hood latches Damn things are $110 a set.....12.9 or bust. Which reminds me, gotta fix my small meth leak and get my boost controller hooked back up1994 Chevy Corsica. Parted out. Just a rotting shell now

Track here lets you run hoodless as long as you have an electric fan and an air filter.

you running external gates or internal? looks like you have enough clearance to run internal gaes. If your runing external gates thats cake, just add a flange at the collector.

The down pipe is going to go straight out of the turbo to a 90* that will go between the #4 and #6 cyl down to the bottom of the oil pan - another 90* facing the rear of the car. Both sides are planned this way, and will Y into a single 3" mandrel exhaust pipe with dual 3.5" exits (Dynaomax muffler).
God gave me a wonderful brain I must admit. When the angle of the dump pipe merge turned out to be to narrow for the MIG nozzle, I fabricated a pencil size nozzle out of some hollow aluminum tubing just the right diameter and used some tape to insulate the tip. It worked well enough for me to fill in the gap without a pile of metal reaching to a wider area.
