I'd look into making a water to air intercooler and use fluid from an aux reservoir. Then if that is not enough, use alcohol injection.
You shouldn't NEED both if any of that IF your configuration is correctly planned out.

Maybe start looking into why the intake temps are too high to begin with? Might be better off with getting the exhaust piping coated/wrapped and a turbo blanket.

so if i just block off the manifold and direct the egr gasses back into the exhaust is that the way i should do it? or do i block off the egr entirely?

dont mean to thread jack by the way but my manifolds are clean! if theres a chance i can keep them cool and clean im gonna do it before its too late. i was also thinking about an oil catch can for the pcv and valve cover breather

Most people just build/buy a block plate and bolt it under the EGR valve itself. The Egr will still open and close but just prevents the gasses to go into the engine. Warning if you have emmissions testing you may not pass with it blocked off.

Note i have also been told the egr also cools the cylinder temps... Just something to think about.... It makes sence, recirculating spent gasses and creates less combustion in the cylinder would make it cooler... I have mine disabled and havnt had problems...

Mine's been disabled on both of my cars for a few years now. Still no problems as Ben tuned both of them, and neither of them run into detonation problems. My intakes are cleaner too
