you can't use a MAP from another car. it is not compatible. the ECU doesn't know what readings its getting when you are in boost. on my turbo kit i have a stock map, once it maxes out then the car relies on MAF readings to adjust fuel. Stock N/A maps are 1bar (-14.7psi to 0). there is not a way (atleast that i know of) to reflash the ecu with info for a 2bar map (-14.7 to +14.7). im running a stock FPR on mine with 42# Lucas injectors (zzperformance.com) and tuned (obdII via DHP) for the larger injectors and the boost.

Before i converted to ODBII and tuned i used a 12:1 Vortec FMU with stock injectors and a Walbro 255lph High Pressure pump.

Ummmm. My car relies solely on the MAP. And yes Im running a 2bar MAP sensor and have been since my turbo was installed. Workes better then my MAF, just cant tune my spark table. If you read my original reply I said how to make it work

Its all good. I was actually thinking. You have the DOHC motor right? If so that could be why you cant (didnt know) about the MAP

BOV is up to you. Depends on the sound you want and how much you want to pay. Only when you start to run high amounts of boost do you need to be concerned with more then that. I run a TIAL 50mm. It was pricey but its worth it because I dont like the squeaking sound all the others make.

Also that TGP turbo is gonna be alittle on the small side for the 3400....
